Vintage fairy tales and legends book
Designed the cover and several interior spreads for this hero prop, that appears multiple times throughout the series. Aside from the design, I also had to do the image research for the book, which was a bit tricky for the interior pages since the description in the script was quite specific: “Poacher facing a devil-like creature, a mixture of chamois and Beelzebub. In the background a waterfall.”.
In the end I found a great stock image of a hunter hiding behind a rock, watching chamois, and replaced some of the animals with the “devil-like” creature I drew digitally, referring to a 400 year old drawing I found researching.

Sign for the secret society/hunting club “AIP”
Development in collaboration with the propmaster Johannes Wild. I did the sketches in ink on paper, then vectorized them, so we could commission a branding iron that was used for the leather cover of the club`s secret notebook and a panel of a hunter`s stand near a crime scene.

Info: i like that the Logo Accidently said “DIE” upside down

Secret “AIP” notebook
Another hero prop I was involved in, the secret hunting club's note book, where all the members names and other top secret information had been written down over decades. Since the detectives go through the entire book, and there needed to be closeups, I had to fill a huge amount of pages with “real” text with varying hand writings.

Taxidermist sketches/illustrations
For the set decoration of a taxidermist workshop, I drew a bunch of digital animal illustrations (rabbit, fox, boar, aries,…) with dimensions and other notes based on my research of real taxidermist working material.

Corporate Design for the “Gössen” corporation
The “Gössen” family and their corporation play a mayor role in season II. I developed the corporate identity that was used for both set decoration and several props.

Presentation material for “Uttanger” construction project
The “Uttanger” project is Gössen's huge new construction project in the city center of Salzburg. In collaboration with “Plan spektrum”, that provided architectural visualisations and diagrams, I designed the project presentation sheets and brochures.

Children's drawings of the “man without a face”
I drew a bunch of children's drawings picturing a possible suspect, the “man without a face”. Those drawings also turned out to be hero props, popping up in different episodes throughout the series.

Photo art for artist's exhibition
In close collaboration with production designer Heike Lange, I created these huge photo art prints that are used in an artist's studio for an installation displaying forest animals.

Research/sketch for vintage music box
Another great collaboration with the propmaster Johannes Wild on this hero prop, that gets a lot of screen time. My job was to research a possible look of the two figures and provide a sketch as a template for the wood carver to work with.

X-ray images
At the very end of season I, one of the detectives gets shot in the head, what of course raised many questions for season II. I designed the X-ray images that help a lot to answer these questions. Since I am no expert in neuroscience , I contacted a friend of mine, who is a neurosurgeon. He could tell me a lot about x-ray images in general, and placement and the impact of a bullet on the patient in particular.
